Lonnie index Jr is one of the chairmen of the commission on appeal for Human Rights in Atlanta, Georgia in 1960. Lonnie C. business leader, Jr was of the many people that had a not bad(p) impact on the Civil Rights Movement. No matter how puny the act was, the overall impact has changed the lifestyle of African Americans tremendously.

Lonnie King along side with Herschelle Sullivan and many others organized a lawsuit to show what was being done and how African Americans werent get the appropriate respect that everyone deserves. Even though this wasnt recognized by many people, it was an act to add to all of the variation that was already uncovered for everyone to see. Lonnie and others took actions by attending Sit-ins. Their goal was to peg desegregation of the society they lived in and bring attention to the good luck charm for Human Rights. Although this was a major achievement his work wasnt done he served as a founding ingredient of the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee, and served on its first Executive Committee representing the State of Georgia
