Overarching questions: What is Afri target American History? From the past to drink, what have African American overcome and strive for over the years? Tell students that we will take a survey to see how much they know about Hip-Hop. 2.The Warm-Up is a multiple choice try out on the beginning of the Hip-Hop era. The students will have 5 minutes to complete the multiple choice quiz. 3.The teacher will review the multiple choice quiz and discuss the questions the students authorized correct or missed. 4.The teacher will explain how Hip-Hop began and its history to the present to the students and how Hip-Hop has impacted our lives. Activity Two- Hip-Hop Past or Present 1.

The teacher will pass out post-it-notes or notes cards to students.
