It is a medicated cleaner made with exclusive micro-crystan benzoyl peroxide, which is sibyllic to kill acne causing germs on contact. It also is suppose to polish off dirt, excess oil and dead skin cells. I found that the product met this expectation being that it did clear up my acne over a period of time. I cant ensure for the fact that it works on contact as it took sometimes for me to see the results. It may have or may not have. I found that having such a high ingress of peroxide tended to dry out my skin even though it is supposed to work on all skin tones. I found this as disappointing.
