Why did the Spanish armada fail? 9/11/10

In 1588 king Philip of Spain sent a grand armada to invade England. They tried to invade England Because Philip of Spain was a Catholic and Elizabeth I was a protestant. Their religious views differed so much that they fought over everything. The Spanish Armada attempted the invasion of England in order to overthrow Elizabeth I and establish Philip and his daughter, the infanta Isabella as the rulers of England.
The reasons why the Spanish armada failed was due to non having as legion(predicate) ships as were told, they had no back-up plan (so if anything were to go wrong you could at least have a back-up plan), the duke was not there (he was off worrying ab start another fight and he at least going to be 2 weeks), they only had enough food for 4 weeks and no more. They relied on fate and luck which in perspective was very monstrous because anything could have gone wrong for example the wind program line that was based on luck as well. I commemorate that the most important reason for the Spanish armada failing was that they rebelliously relied on things which easily could have gone wrong. And then to firebrand it worse they didnt even have a little idea on what their backup plan was. So I think it failed due to bad planning and them relying on to many things.





Here are some examples of bad planning:
* In confident leaders
* Relying
* Not bringing extra food
* Not bringing many sailors
* Not bringing as many ships
* Didnt have a backup plan
* Didnt have any tactics
* They werent as approximate as English were

These are all reasons why the Spanish failed and lost. And because they had scared, panicked, worried leaders this didnt show a upright example to all of the fighters. And because they relied on things this led them to praying things would work out and hoping it will work out and obviously this was very compulsory and a stupid unplanned thing to go in the lead and do.
